Movies I Love to Quote

I tend to frequently speak in movie quotes. Sometimes introverts need that extra help. Sometimes it’s just appropriate (okay easier) to use someone else’s words. So, here are 4 movies I quote, or at least the quote floats through my head in conversations most often.

Real Genius (1985, Tri-Star Pictures) The movie stars Val Kilmer, Jon Gries, and William Atherton. This movie is kind of a cult classic. There are a lor of one liners in this movie. Anytime I read negative comments online, I think of Val Kilmer talking about “Moles and Trolls” The main plot of the movie is a little confusing, but I feel, it’s to show that smart people are needed, but that they should think about what they are creating. Plot aside, watch the movie twice to catch all the one liners.

Summer School (1987, Paramount Pictures) Mark Harmon and Kirstie Alley star in this movie along with some “up and comers” as of the release of the film, Courtney Thorne-Smith to name one. Mark Harmon plays a gym (P.E.) teacher that gets stuck teaching English to students that didn’t pass a statewide test.

The Emperor’s New Groove (2000, Disney Aminated Studios) For this one I have to add Kronk’s New Groove (2005) as well. The voice actors are Eartha Kitt, David Spade, John Goodman, and Patrick Warburton. I still laugh really hard at these movies. You need to watch the first one before you can appreciate the second.

Office Space (1999, Twentieth Century Fox) Starring Ron Livingston, Jennifer Aniston, and Gary Cole. The thing about this movie is that when it come out, I was working in a call center. We sat in cubicles. I lived and was very in touch with any scene with the fax machine. You don’t have to work in that environment to get all the jokes.
